Jade Blossom Super Saver Meal Review

During the previous visit to Jade Blossom Restaurant, I saw a banner on a super saver meal and decided to give it a try. This promotion is available during lunch and dinner.

We kick off with appetizer, Shanghai "Xiao Long Bao" RM8 for 5 pieces. The xiao long bao skin did not retain it's juice.

The Super Saver Meal RM9.80 consist of an Entree and a cup of Chilled Sugar Cane with Water Chestnut.

Ended our lunch with Chef's Special Chinese Pancake RM8 per serving.

Crispy pancake skin on the outside and tasty layer of yam in the inside. Best consumed while it is hot.

A peaceful restaurant to have an enjoyable lunch or dinner. Many business elites are there during lunch time.

Simple and well arranged.

Portion: 6/10
Good enough for average eater. Portion looks similar with the banner.

Taste: 6.5/10
Taste is yummy and memorable.

Service: 8/10

The food is served within minutes. There are waiters pouring tea from time to time and clean plate and chopstick before the dessert.

Value for money: 8/10
Highly value for money if you compare with the ala carte menu.

OVERALL
A good dining experience. A few bucks more than fast food. Worth a try!

[Invited Review] Gelatissimo, The Real Taste of Italia Gelato

Gelatissimo, The Real Taste of Italia is an award winning Gelato that is made fresh daily to an authentic family recipe.

Thanks to Jason and Gill, we had the opportunity to have a sneak peak on their making process, and also be the first few to have the luxury to taste some of their new products that have yet to be offered to the public.

At Gelatissimo, they have 2 range of Gelato, the Premium Dairy and Sorbet Flavours. As a low fat, creamy alternative to traditional ice-cream, Gelato is smooth, rich and simply irresistable.

Gelato in cups are sold in 3 sizes:
1 Flavour Cup RM 8.90, 2 Flavours Cup RM 12.90 and 3 Flavours Cup RM 16.90.

Mr. Hong, the Marketing Manager showed us some of their secret recipes in the making of their tasty Gelatissimo Gelato.

Affogato RM 14.90

Affagato in Italian means drown into coffee. A scoop of Biscottino (normally Vanilla Gelato) is served in a coffee cup of expresso. This cup of hot expresso tasted bitter yet sweet when mixed together with the Gelato.

We also had Mango milkshakes, which tasted very good.

After tasting various types of Gelatissimo gelato, Mei Yi decided to buy a cup of her favourite choice, Belgian Chocolate and Green Tea.

[Invited Review] 75 °C Restaurant and Bar

An afternoon was set by Ken for Floggers and food enthusiasts to be WOW and introduced to what 75 Celsius has to offer. Weather was fine and the view to sea was particularly good on a Saturday afternoon.

75’s menu has many choices to offer but has limited pictures was the down side of it.

This place was in a bistro setting called Restaurant and Bar. A place to visit if you prefer some cocktails or alcoholic drinks to go with some munchies or even dinner or lunch.

It's a good place to be if you like varieties of music. You will be served with house, hip hop, native, new age and jazz as well.

We are introduced to a large variety of drinks and food. Here are some to share.

Almost all the food presented are similar to each other. The one thing is the food are all prepared fast and clean.

Served food is filling.

Taste: 6/10
Recommended dishes are the Hamburger Delight and Ribeye Steak. They tasted good for the price offered. For drinks, our personal favorite are the Bailey's Milk Shake and Green Tea Special.

Service: 7/10
Waiters are attentive to customers and also helpful.

Value for money: 6.5/10
Reasonable priced bites.

Drop by, if you just want to chill out with some alcoholic drinks and music.
